Monthly Course: Learn to Create Cosplay & LARP Armor
Step into the world of cosplay and learn how to work with EVA foam and ThermoArt in detail to achieve an epic finish.
You’ll be guided through the entire process — from pattern making to construction, painting, and special effects — to create your own armor pieces.
What will you learn in this monthly cosplay armor course?
- How to cut and manipulate EVA foam and ThermoArt
- How to build a piece using a base pattern — or design your own
- How to add raised details with various techniques
- How to prime and paint your pieces with metallic, aged, or leather-like finishes
- How to attach straps so your armor is functional and comfortable
During the month, you’ll complete one armor piece from start to finish: patterning, construction, detailing, painting, and finishing.
If you continue with the course, you’ll be able to create additional parts of your armor set at your own pace — you decide how far you want to go. Each month we’ll propose a new project to keep learning and evolving.
This course is perfect whether you want to start strong in the cosplay world, learn a new hobby, or improve your finishing techniques.

Approximate duration: 2 hours/week for 4 weeks (total 8h/month)
